Terms of Service for TradeRaft

Effective Date: April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TradeRaft ("the App"), a mobile application developed and published by Kappal ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradeRaft, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TradeRaft is a financial calculation tool that helps users calculate brokerage fees, taxes and other charges associated with trading in Indian stock markets (NSE/BSE). The App provides:

• Brokerage and charge calculations for multiple market segments
• Multiple broker profile management
• Calculation history and export features

3. Accuracy of Calculations

While we strive to provide accurate calculations:

• Calculations are estimates and may not reflect exact charges from your broker.
• Regulatory charges (STT, SEBI fees, stamp duty, etc.) may change without notice. We update the app periodically, but there may be delays.
• Individual broker charges vary based on pricing plans, promotions, and account types.
• Exchange transaction charges and GST rates are subject to change by regulatory authorities.
• You should always confirm actual charges with your broker or broker's official contract note.

4. In-App Purchase & Pricing

4.1 Free Trial

TradeRaft offers 5 free calculations to help you evaluate the app before purchasing.

4.2 One-Time Purchase

Full access to TradeRaft is available for a one-time purchase of ₹249 (or equivalent in your local currency) via Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing.

• No subscription: This is a one-time payment for lifetime access.
• No recurring charges: You will not be charged again for using the app.
• Updates included: All future updates and features are included at no additional cost.

4.3 Refund Policy

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and their respective refund policies apply:

• iOS: Request refunds through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Request refunds through Google Play Store order history

We cannot process refunds directly as all payments are handled by Apple/Google.

4.4 Restore Purchase

If you reinstall the app or get a new device, you can restore your purchase at no additional cost using the "Restore Purchase" option in the app, as long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account.

5. User Responsibilities

By using TradeRaft, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Verify all calculations with your broker before making trading decisions
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Take responsibility for your own trading decisions

6. Intellectual Property

TradeRaft and all its content, features and functionality are owned by Kappal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Calculations will be 100% accurate in all circumstances
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Charge rates and formulas will always reflect current regulations

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAPPAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any financial losses arising from reliance on the App's calculations
• Trading decisions made based on the App's output
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (₹249 or equivalent).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kappal from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
